One day, the king was walking in the garden of his palace and suddenly he saw paintings of his ancestors. He thought that one day his children would walk in the same garden and they would remember their ancestors through all these paintings. So he thought why not to have a painting of himself and put it in the garden But the king did not have any painting of himself. Due to a physical disability, he was not sure how his painting would look like So, he invited many famous artists of his and other states to his court Then the king announced that he wants to have a beautiful painting of himself which will be kept in the palace garden So any artist who wants to do this should come forward The artist will be rewarded based on the painting he would make After listening to the king, all the artists thought that the king had only one leg and one eye It is not possible to make his painting very beautiful If the king does not think his painting is beautiful then the king will become angry and will punish them. 

So all the artists, one by one, started making excuses and refused to make painting of the king Suddenly an artist came forward and said that I would create a very beautiful picture of you that you would definitely like The king was pleased to hear this and allowed him to make the painting. All the other painters were amazed They thought that the king did not look beautiful at all then how would this artist make a beautiful painting of the king. They all began to whisper with each other The artist, ignoring all of this, started painting. He started to fill the picture with different colors Finally, after a lot of time, the artist said the painting is ready.

 All the courtiers, ministers, advisers and other artists were curious to see how the artist could make the king's painting beautiful while the king is physically disabled What if the king does not like the painting and becomes angry. But when the artist presented the painting, everyone, including the king, was stunned. The artist overlooked the king's outward flaws and used his thinking and intellect to create a painting in which the king's positive attributes was seen rather than the flaws In the painting, the king was sitting on a horse One leg of the king was on the front of the horse and the other leg was on the back of the horse. Thus the fine leg of kind became visible and crippled leg became hidden behind horse. 

The king was holding an arrow in the painting and was aiming at an animal with an arrow by closing his crippled eye By hiding the king's crippled leg and eye behind horse it felt as if there were no disability or defect in the king The king was pleased to see that the artist cleverly concealed the king's disability and produced a beautiful painting and the king awarded him with a huge prize.
